Sleigh Ride

My Dad must have had an awesome childhood! (he did pass that on to us too) These photos are of him and his horse Pal and sleigh. Jealous?? I know!! Mom came across these the other day and sent them to me along with a photo of him on Santa's lap at the age of 4. You will not believe the photo of that..still to come! I had a hard time deciding what to do with these photos because they are 3x3 and hard to blow up, so my scrapping came in handy. I double matted the photos and them added a few lyrics from Sleigh Ride. I love how it turned out and sent a photo to him of it. He loved it too and they want one for their house! Yay!! I am going to display it all winter long, Maybe even all year!! I love old photos and finding new ways to display them in my home!

August had his final Christmas concert at school last night. Next year on to 5th grade. He did a fabulous job! Back to crafting!! Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Barn Board

My Cousin had this barn board and wanted a saying on it for her bathroom. She called me up and asked what I could do and this is what I came up with. She loved it SO much. The vinyl was really hard to attach to the board. She is going to use some matte polyurethane on it anyway because it is going in the bathroom. Really happy with it and can't wait to make myself one with the free boards she is giving me!

Tile Subway Art

I had this tile laying around here for awhile now and could not think of anything I could keep up year round to put on it. I was checking out Tatertots and Jello blog with all of there subway art and fell in love. So I did one for my bedroom with our wedding info on it. I really like how it turned out and gives me a great idea for anniversary gifts! I SO love working with the SCAL program and vinyl!
